The measurements of the new Sreekovil for Lord Subrahmannya was derived on the basis of astro-thanthrik consultations /calculations made by Stapathi Vezhaparamb Brahmadathan Namboodiri . Accordingly the kuttiyadikkal for the Sreekovil was held on 10.11.2008

The Shilasthapanam: (laying of the first foundation stone ) for the new Sreekovil was done by the Thantri on 18.01.2009 in the presence of Maharaja of Travancore, his Highness Uthradam Thirunal Marthandavarama , Manavedan Zamoorin Raja of Kozhikode, his Highness P.K.S.Raja, Sreemad Chidanandapuri , Dr.MGS Narayanan, Guruvayur Devaswam Board Chairman Thottathil Raveendran , Shri T.Ramakrishna n Nair etc.. 36 luminaries including Acharyas and scholars present at the shrine took part in laying the foundation stones

The Kattilaveppu(fixation of main door to Sreekovil) was done on 10.11.2013 in the presence of Azvancheri Thamrakkal Shri Nethranarayan and Stapathi Vezhaparamb Brahmadathan Namboodiri by Shri P.K.S.Raja, His Highness Manavedan Zamoorin Raja of Kozhikode, Shri M.K. Raghavan, Hon’ble M.P., Shri Thottathil Raveendan, Dr. M.G. Sashibhooshan, Shri P.V. Chandran, Shri T. Ramakrishanan Nair, Shri Ankathil Ajayakumar, Shri B. Girirajan, Shri K.G. Gireesh Babu, Shri Rameshan Paleri, Shri A.K. Prasanth, and Dr. Sreejayan under the leadership of Thantri, Shri Tharanallur Padinjare Mana Padmanabhan Namboothiripad

Bhagavathasapthaha Yajna was arranged at the shrine in 2006,2007, 2008, 2012 and 2013.

i) The first Sapthaham was held from 14.05.2006 to 21.05.2006. Shri Aayadam Kesavan Namboodiri was the main Acharya .

ii) The second Sapthaham was from 13.05.2007 to 20.05.2007. Shri Kizhakkumpad Vinodkumar was the main Acharya.

iii) The third Sapthaham was from 18.05.2008 to 25.05.2008. Shri Palanchery Subrahmanian Namboothiri was the main Acharya.

iv) The forth Sapthaham was from 13.05.2012 to 20.05.2012. Shri A.K.B. Nair was the main Acharya.

v) The fifth Sapthaham was from 21.04.2013 to 28.04.2013. Shri Pulloormana Manivarnan Namboodiri was the main Acharya.

Shree Chakra Navavarana Pooja 24.12.2015(1191Dhanu 8) Thursday, full moon day. In order to rejuvenate the divine potential of the Devatas, the highly auspicious and devotional ritual, Shri Chakra(Navavarana) Pooja was held at the shrine on 24th December,2015 (1191 Dhanu-full moon day) under the guidance of Temple Thanthri, Shri Tharanallur Padinjaremana Padmanabhan Namboodiripad and other renowned priests. Shri Chakra Pooja, accompanied with dance, music and instruments is considered as the greatest ritual for worshipping Goddess Aadi Parashakthi. The Pooja was the first of this type in North Malabar. Special Poojas were also held at the shrine on 21st, 22nd and 23rd December, 2015 in connection with the Shri Chakra Pooja. The Shrichakra & Traditional lamp for the Pooja was brought from Kodungallur and Madikavu(Kannur) respectively as Car(chariot) processions. The Car processions started on 12th December from Kodungallur and on 13th from Madaikavu and reached Shri Thrikkaippatta Kshethram on 15.12.2015. The spiritual-cultural-devotional functions of various forms were also arranged at the shrine during the period from 16th to 23rd December,2015. A series of discourses on different topics by prominent Scholars/ Spiritual leaders were arranged at the venue during the period. Apart from this, stage performances on various temple arts were arranged during the period as part of the festival.

A dawn to dusk Mass Prayer was held at the shrine on………………………..to get relief from the continuous road accidents in the bypass. The people in the locality strongly believed that the undue sufferings were due to the unceremonious encroachment to the divine land in the name of development. Surprisingly no accident was reported then at the stretch by the grace of God.

8. Laksham Deepam : Laksham Deepam( Lighting of one lakh flames )at the shrine was arranged from 10.03.2013 to 14.04.2013 (in the month of Meenam)
